About Highland Memory Gardens

Highland Memory Gardens is a cemetery that provides compassionate and helpful service during difficult times. Visitors have appreciated how staff, including Adam and Amy, make decisions easier and offer support with kindness and professionalism. The staff are attentive to details, such as finding and rectifying issues with memorial plaques, and they follow up to ensure everything is correct. When concerns about the safety and condition of the grounds arose, the staff responded promptly and helped with moving arrangements. In one case, a family’s headstone was mistakenly thought to be scratched from lawnmower contact, but the staff quickly investigated, cleaned the headstone, and provided reassurance with photos and updates. The grounds are well-maintained and kept beautiful, reflecting the care the staff put into the cemetery. Overall, Highland Memory Gardens is highly recommended for its caring staff, quick responses, and dedication to keeping the grounds respectful and peaceful for families during their time of loss.

My parents chose their resting place in the 80’s. As time went on, the area deteriorated and I told them my concerns for my safety. I told them that I would pay all expenses to move to another cemetery. They agreed! While they were still alive we chose Highland Memory Gardens, but didn’t commit right away. My mom passed unexpectedly in 2014 and dad and the family had to quickly make arrangements. Amy was so pleasant, helpful and informative. She explained all of our options with no pressure and made our decisions easier to make. In 2017, my dad passed away and my husband and I decided to purchase 2 lots next to them and paid to get the head stone and other cost that comes with the burial. I went last weekend to bring flowers to my parents and seen that our head stone had a scratch on it which appeared to be made from a riding lawnmower. I waited u til Monday to contact Amy about my concern. I left a message with the cemetery and Amy’s cell phone. Amy called right away and informed me she no longer works there, but had confidence that they would fix the issue. As I was speaking with Amy, Highland Memory Gardens called me back. It was Erin, Amy’s replacement. I explained to her my concern. I told her I took pictures and she asked if I could send the pictures to her. She was very polite and professional and said she would look into this immediately. Her and Will, the grounds manager went to my site and found that the mower tire and sand made the head stone look scratched, but it wasn’t. They cleaned it up and send me pictures. I loved her quick response and action over this matter. I highly recommend this cemetery, because they really do care and keep the grounds beautiful.

Two months ago I lost my dad. He had been battling health issues but nothing that seemed serious until all of a sudden he went down hill fast. I knew he wanted his final resting place to be Highland Memory Gardens but everything happened so fast I had no idea what I needed to do. I called and spoke with Amy, she was so helpful and accommodating especially since everything was so last minute. I was so overwhelmed and emotional and Amy was there every step. She explained everything in detail and gave us all options. We never felt pressured to make a decision. The grounds are beautiful and I felt very comfortable and a sense of peace laying my dad to rest there. Dealing with the loss of a loved one isn’t easy so I thank Amy and the staff at Highland for making the process as easy as possible. Thank you from the Stansbery / Cluckey family.
