This is the most inclusive salon. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I have a child on the spectrum so haircuts can be really hard and he was having a hard time but we pushed through and got it done. I wish I could recall our stylist’s name but I forgot to ask unfortunately, but she was very patient and amazing with my child.
Brought in my 6 Year Old Nephew for a haircut. He has had traumatizing experiences in the past, which resulted in a deep rooted fear of clippers, and people touching his hair. For the first time in a long while, he was ready to try again(he saw a super cool hairstyle with designs buzzed on the side). We went to Great Clips, and that’s where he met Stacey. Stacey was SO patient, and understanding of his nerves and fears. She allowed him to clutch his favorite stuffed animal while she worked, and explained each step to him so that he was aware of what was happening. I wasn't happy with the way the stylist cut my hair. She cut off too much. After I kept saying I don't want it too short, I want to keep the length. I wanted texture, not the cut I had before and I said that to her twice.
