Simply put, excellent haircut at an affordable price! The shop was immaculate and the company was pleasant. I'll be getting my hair cut here from here on out! I highly recommend!!
I just went to Fortney's yesterday, and it was a great experience. The price of my haircut was fair, the quality was great but for me, the part that will have me return is the friendliness of the staff. I believe at a barbershop, the quality of the haircut is very important but there is something missing without the smalltalk of the barber to the customer. As soon as I sat down, great conversation was started and didn't end until he was finished. So again, the price was fair, the quality great and the friendliness was superb.
I've been going to this barber shop since the mid 1970s. I live in a different state and when I'm in Van Wert I get my haircut at Fortney's. This is a basic mens' haircut place, nothing fancy. But I like their work and the barbers are very friendly.
