After a sleep study in December and consequent diagnosis of sleep apnea, I was prescribed a CPAP machine by my physician. I am completely new to this and don’t know how it works. I contacted my insurance and they listed Apria as an in-network medical device provider. I contacted Apria as they were the closest. I spoke to Pam and told her that I have a prescription for a machine, but have no idea where to start. Since switching to Apria to provide my CPAP supplies, my experience with them has been very positive. After my doctor submitted an order for a BiPAP machine to my previous durable medical equipment supplier, I learned that, due to a staffing shortage, there would be a lengthy delay in getting my much needed machine. My doctor then switched the order to Apria, and they have been very responsive. They provided my machine in a timely manner and have followed up several times to make sure everything is as it should be. Thanks Apria for the exemplary service!!!
At first, it was a difficult time trying to find out why my order for durable medical equipment wasn't showing up after being sent over twice. Since I was 3 days from surgery, I had no choice but to contact to a person in charge. Once I did that, Monica, the Manager of Customer Service took care of everything! I had the equipment I needed for when I came home. She also found that the order from my doctor was indeed received by them and that the Customer Service Agent who received it, sent it back to my doctor asking for more information.
