Summa Health Green Urgent Care

For the most part, a good experience. Front desk and auxiliary staff are great. I had major Covid symptoms, had tested negative for it at home on July 5, before I traveled out of state to visit relatives. Felt I was having trouble breathing yesterday. I told Carolynne, NP about my negative Covid test but said if she wanted to do one, that was fine. She didn’t want one. Today I tested positive and called back to see if they could call me in some paxlovid, but they categorically refused because “”they didn’t do the test.” I am still out of state. I feel this is close to malpractice. I would be wary of going here again.

I love them, and not a single one of them ever smells like beef noodles! ?Seriously though, any time I get sick this is the only place I actually want to go! I get ear infections and respiratory issues a bit, every time I go they're quick to take care of me and they are very knowledgeable. They are always extremely kind and nice. I'm usually in & out and have a prescription that helps with my medical ailment.

"Billing Issue and Lack of Communication"I visited Summa Urgent Care last year(2023) for my symptoms. The initial service was prompt, but I later received an unexpected bill for an “experimental” test that my insurance didn't cover. Despite the testing company's efforts to communicate with Summa Urgent Care, there still has been no response. It would have been helpful if I had been informed about the possibility of test cost denial during my visit.
