I went in and paid the $115 consult fee. I need 2 wisdom teeth removed. They wrote down $1500 on a sheet of paper and when I asked what my insurance would cover, the question was skipped past and not acknowledged at all 😆 one of the employees was very friendly, the other 2 I encountered were mostly cold and passive. I go to a dentist regularly. I’ve had 2 other wisdom teeth removed and my insurance was billed and I paid the difference. Not really comfortable with walking in there and paying $1500 and then waiting for my insurance to send me a check for an amount that I don’t even know. Weird experience all around. I just got all 4 of my wisdom teeth out today. I was INCREDIBLY anxious. I cried the entire pre-op when his staff was helping get blood pressure and heart rate measurements. It was my first time under anesthesia, with laughing gas, and my top wisdom tooth was growing on top of my molar and into my sinus cavity. I was fully prepared for complications and that molar getting pulled.
However, none of that happened. Dr. Kim finished the surgery in 45 minutes. I went in at 9am, started surgery around 9:15-9:20, was awake by 10:15. His assistants kept me talking and distracted to the point that I don’t even remember counting down for anesthesia. He’s done my mom,...read full review
