My mom passed away while we were near Dayton visiting from Texas. Our local funeral home was telling me I would have to pay additional money to have her embalmed in OH and transported back to TX so they could cremate her under her prepaid plan. A friend recommended we call Zerkle Funeral Home. Trent took the time to explain that what mom had paid for was an insurance plan and any authorized funeral home could take care of it. He honored everything that needed to be done even though the original contract did not itemize the goods and services included. He met with us on a Sunday to do this.

We lost my daddy unexpectedly. Trent and the staff at Zerkle Funeral home were amazing. Walking into a funeral home is never easy, but Trent was so helpful and made this hard time much more tolerable. My daddy had everything planned out of what he wanted and Trent helped us out the finishing touches on the rest. Thank you for making my daddy look like he was asleep, and as natural as you possibly could have. That was calming in itself. Thank you for honoring my daddy in the wonderful Military service.
