“The staff at Sketcherz were very friendly! I walked in about 40 minutes after opening as a walk-in client and was able to get my nose pierced. Right off the bat my piercer (Megan) made sure to talk to me about the piercing and inform me on the healing time, healing process, and other aftercare details before I agreed to the service. She was also open to the types of jewelry I wanted to be put in and the size. Not only was she super kind while we talked, she also gave off a presence that she was genuinely excited to do this piercing for me which overall made the environment and mood inside the shop super calming to be in. During the service my piercer took her time to carefully map out the location of my piercings and was willing to change the location as many times as I needed to feel confident in where they were going. I was also provided a paper towel in case I teared up while getting pierced which was super considerate. Throughout each step of the service, my piercer was super considerate to let me know when the needle and jewelry were going in so I was prepared. I also struggle with vertigo. When it came time to do the second side of my nose, my artist very carefully spun the chair and was super patient with me to be ready to keep going. Afterwards, without me having to ask, Megan let me know a ton of great information about aftercare and covered a lot of topics I wouldn't have even thought of asking. Furthermore, she was super open to questions I had so that I was prepared to take care of myself after leaving the shop. Finally, she offered me her socials so in case I ever needed help or had questions during the recovery period I could reach out. I was also really relieved to find out the shop sells an aftercare saline spray in store; this is something I've worried about while recovering from other piercings that I wouldn't have the right products. However, after my piercings, my artist used this product on me in the chair so I already knew how it felt and my opinion on it before buying. Overall, if I could rate this shop higher than a five star, I would. I was really nervous getting pierced today because of previous experiences I've had and they made me feel very welcome and safe in their shop. I have a few more piercings on my bucket list so when I am ready for those, I will definitely be coming back!”
