I have to admit I wasn’t looking forward to a total kitchen renovation after a disappointing bathroom redo a few years back (with a different company). However, I was wrong. Big Bear was an absolute pleasure to work with. They excel at communications; we received a weekly update throughout the renovation process. We knew each day which of Big Bear’s team would be on site and what they would accomplish while here. All of the workers arrived on time (by 8am); they were pleasant, customer-focused, and did quality work. Kirk Hartung was awesome. He helped us with design ideas and was great at problem solving situations with our century home😉. If any problems arose, we were confident Big Bear would make it right…and they did. Our new kitchen is fantastic - done on time (if not ahead of schedule) and within budget. I highly recommend Bear Bear!
Big Bear was a dream to work with over the course of the six months they were in our house working on our kitchen, bathroom and spare bedroom remodels. Their team was fantastic throughout our projects; highly communicative, detail oriented, reasonable and looking out for our best interests as we tore apart and rebuilt our 100+ year old home. Our projects were by no mean smooth, easy, or problem-free, but Kirk, Travis and the rest of the Big Bear team made discovering setbacks easier to navigate and always provided multiple solutions to correct the situation at hand. Asbestos - check, hidden structural problems from previous owner's renovations - check, un-permitted work discoveries - check; we really had it all and they were helpful and informative partners at each and every pinch point. If there were ever complaints along the way, it was usually a matter of issues with material choices or vendors, and I don't feel this is something BB should be held accountable for. In fact, in several instances, BB went the extra mile to try and resolve issues with vendors on our behalf. We will be working with them again, and have already referred them to several friends and family members.
