“Dr Channon is amazing. At first I went to go see Doc Yancypants (since he was here in Marion, and he scruffed (abruptly yanked him in the air by the fur on the back of his neck!) ,my guinea pig Murray, and really hurt him. That sweet boy piggy had never so much as squeaked or wheeked impatiently at any of us once in his life up until that point! Just precious little chirps, and purrs. After that day, he was never the same. No more snuggles, purrs, or affectionate wheeks. I wouldn't take a worm there, let alone a furry pet! But, I do have his ineptitude to thank for finding the best vet I could ever hope for at Richwood Animal Clinic in Dr C. Her prices were great, her nurse was very kind, caring, and gentle, but, she herself was very thoughtful. Not pushing my boy, Oliver to be held, reading his nervous body language and letting him sit, or have me hold him. We were given tips on making him safer in the future, and more comfortable now. (Also, we did evenrually lose Murray, despite the 6 weeks of antibiotics and superb care he received. Dr Channon called me to check up on us. That's a class act right there.)“
