About Safari Golf Club
Safari Golf Club, located across from Zoombezi Bay and the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, is an award-winning 18-hole public golf course spanning over 140 acres. The course features a clubhouse, restaurant, and pro shop, and supports animal conservation and local environmental sustainability efforts. Golfers of all levels can enjoy the challenging course, with some areas noting uneven greens with mounds and occasional delays due to larger groups. Despite some minor issues with service and pace of play, the staff is generally praised for being friendly and helpful.
Safari is like my home course since I’ve been golfing there since 90’! We hit that course 3-4 times a week for many of summer. Wyandot Lake was Next Door that was the 1st name for SplashPark at the Zoo and that was perfect after the course. I’ll be honest I always say Safari made me a better golfer, so thanks for 100’s of great memories ??
Is it necessary that each Green has a mound for its perimeter?Beautiful challenging course.Ranger continued pressure for pace due to a outing hours away. First & Last time golfing there
Nice tract in a suburb of Columbus, Ohio. Greens were in good shape as well as the fairways. Wanted some refreshments at the turn but no one waited on us for 4-5 minutes. Unacceptable at a course of this stature.
