“I searched for months to find someone to reconfigure some garden beds and rework a flagstone walkway. I reached out to several landscape companies before I found Buck and Sons. The other companies either didn't respond to my online inquires or would meet to discuss the project and then never follow-up. I found Buck and Sons through a google search and was initially concerned that the project may be too small for them (and I was on the other side of town). I received a prompt response to my inquiry and an initial visit was scheduled. Within two days of the visit, Jared Buck sent me a quote based on the scope of the work and budget discussed during our meeting. He made experienced suggestions and clearly had a vision for the space which I so appreciated! He gave me a realistic timeline of when I could get on the schedule. He kept me informed throughout the project and the workers were friendly and professional. “First of all, out of all the landscapers I have called, Jonathan was the only one who was responsive and on time. He understands that time is important. If you want someone reliable, he is your guy.Mr. Allen installed a huge rose bed for me in the backyard. Not only did he take time to give me his thoughts and opinions, he made sure that I was going to get the best material for what my plants need. Having experience working with one of the most popular nurseries in Columbus he was able to really guide me in the right direction as far as advice. I have never had anyone be so thorough as Jonathan with his project. He made sure that the rose bed, which was once home to five spruce trees, had all of the tree roots taken out out, all weeds and woodchips hauled off, tilled the ground until the dirt was clean and prepped, filled in with the best dirt from Kurtz Bros, and then edged the bed. What was important to me was that he understood my vision and he took it and made it come true. I love that he is as excited as I am for my rose garden project.I cannot recommend Jonathan Allen enough. I wouldn't go to anyone else for any other project in the future. Nextdoor Lawn & Landscape was the only one that not only showed great interest, but provided ideas and options on how to get the best results. Franklin did a thorough assessment of the project and was easy to get a hold of. The crew that came out was friendly and gave me constant updates on the project and verified things were the way i wanted them. “Really good company in my opinion. I bit the bullet last year and had them come out 6 times a year to fertilizer and weed control my lawn. I had grubs and other problems that I was trying to deal with but it was becoming not worth my time for the crappy results I was getting. My neighbor who has a green thumb and researches this stuff carefully went with Grassroots, so I did too. What impressed me the most was I recently called to get an detailed explanation of what my plan actually was and what I could do to improve my lawn and the owner came out and was super helpful. Even went down to my basement and helped me figure out why my water pressure was so weak.“
“I contacted Russell Landscape Services to get a quote on taking a tree down. They were very quick to respond and were thorough in explaining the process. Within 3 days they had someone out to our house to access. The next day I received an email with the price and explanation of what needed to be done. Unfortunately, the cost was out of our range as it's a 60 ft tree and we had NO idea what it costs to take down. I received an email back with a referral from Russell himself of another company that might be cheaper but still quality. This is huge. They apologized and spoke highly of this other company in regards to our needing a little cheaper price tag. It is all of these things that will definitely cause us to go back to Russell Landscape in the future. I highly recommend them!“
