“We had a kitchen and mudroom renovation completed converting our previous kitchen into the latter while basically designing and building the former from the ground up. This was our first remodeling experience and entered the project with limited perception of all that goes into a renovation of this scope. We had our own vision of what we wanted the end product to be both atheistically and functionally. To this, the team listened, worked collaboratively, and fabricated a design which was beyond our expectations. Throughout the design phase, they were very patient while as we made selections only to reconsider and move in a different direction ultimately ensuring the end product was in line with exactly what we wanted. While the construction phase was organically formidable with unanticipated predicaments, they were very quick to address our concerns and rectify our issues to our full satisfaction. The attention to detail in regard to taking the time to keep the space clean as possible and the extra time to keep us informed was notable. It is obvious they take pride in their work and was as if they were working on their own homes. We historically are hesitant to make recommendations to our friends and family based on our experiences fearing their experience will not mirror ours. However, with full confidence we would recommend Functional Living without hesitation and look forward to working with the team for future projects.“
