I found Rumpke very reliable. They follow the schedule set. If weather is a factor on pick up days, they text a message so you know if it’s going to be delayed. I appreciate that.

The drivers are friendly and leave things in good order. The company does a good job of communicating during inclement weather. However, I do not understand why pickup on the recycling is not more consistent. If the refuse truck can make the route the recycling should be able to make the route. Also, when the recycling is missed, there doesn’t seem to be an effort to make it like with the garbage. We just get skipped that week.

We’ve been customers for many years, and I haven’t got any complaints about the service we’ve received. I do, however, have a complaint about the cost, which has gone up each billing cycle for the last year, and about $10 the last two billing cycles. At $138 you’ve just about priced yourself out of our league. It really has nothing to do with service. I understand that everything has gone up, but no fuel costs have been relatively stable.I feel Rumpke may be raising prices because they can. Maybe not much longer for us though.
