This used to be a very good dry cleaner. They don't seem to be able to get help that cares. I stopped to drop off my dry cleaning today and asked them about an issue with the last cleaning dry cleaning. After a few minutes I realized they really don't care anymore. I took my cloths and left to look for a better place. I recommend you save yourself the time and find another cleaner.
I've used this location as my dry cleaners since relocating to Pickerington 5 years ago. We've had a few hiccups over the years but the staff have always been pleasant. They is until today. I dropped all of my items off last Friday and they were completed on Saturday. Busy all weekend so I wore my last clean dress shirt to work on Monday with the knowledge I could pick up Monday night. I get to the store Monday night to be informed the conveyor is down and they can't retrieve my order. Frustrated but the staff were pleasant. They told me hopefully Wednesday. Fast forward to today. I go in and retrieve my order. I believe the store manager assists. I ask if there is any kind of discounting because of the conveyor issue and she quickly tells me no and she's not allowed to do that. I question this because of the lack of availability of my clothing since it was ready Saturday and I couldn't pick up on Monday. Her response... I could have come in Saturday or Sunday and picked up my order because it didn't go down until Monday. I interpret this as it's my fault and not theirs. In this same interaction as was told if I fill out a satisfaction survey I could get $5 off $10 or more. So I'm now hearing if I fill out a survey and say how crappy it was I get a discount but I can't get one for being a solid customer for 5 years. All of this equates to me finding a new dry cleaners. Time to start looking.
The service levels have gone way down hill. I've taken only two laundry & dry cleaning orders to this location in the last 6 months, both using an express bag. In the first order, they did not return a pair of dress slacks when I picked up and had the nerve to send me an e-mail months later 'reminding' me that I had -left- clothing there. This weekend I dropped off 3 shirts and 1 pair of slacks. When I tried to pick them up this afternoon, I was told that they 'split my order' so one of the shirts would not be ready until after 5 (i.e., I would need to make a second trip). Keep in mind that a single laundered shirt costs $3.49 and no attempt was made to make the situation...read full review
