The ladies here saved me when my loupes for work were found badly bent this morning and I had a patient in 30 minutes! I asked to pay for the adjustment but they turned it down. The office staff was so kind, the office was beautiful, and they had a lot of frame options to browse while they did CPR on my frame. Thank you again! Now off to see patients!
We took our 2 year old to another doctor’s office and it was a nightmare. They were not able to get a good exam done and we left being told we’d have to try again. My friend mentioned this place when we were around the corner getting coffee and we walked over and I made an appointment for the next day with Dr. Hohman. I completed the paperwork before going in and when we got there they saw her quickly and were very understanding of her toddler behaviors. The doctor was very playful with her, found her favorite show to watch when checking her eyes, and was so patient when she didn’t want to sit still. We LOVE Dr. Shasteen and her staff!! I've had 2 of my daughters need eye therapy, each with a different issue. And both times their issue was corrected with eye therapy! My youngest daughter struggled to read because her eyes only had 50% range of motion. (Nothing you could tell by looking at her!). Reading was hard, tiresome and her eyes would hurt. But at age 8, she had no idea that wasn't normal! It was only after a regular eye exam check up that this issue was discovered. Since therapy, my daughter says, "I can read better, my eyes don't hurt or get tired anymore!" It's been TOTALLY worth it! And we just had our 1 year check up and all is good! Praise God!
