Do not work here no consistent pay raises , terrible benefits , no way to actually ever retire from here because their 401k plan is non existent. They don’t care about your personal life at all.
Driver beware do not work for an operation that you are catering to the customer. This is what CPC Logistics is all about. They don’t care about you as the driver you are under the mercy of the customer. This is not a place to work for the stress level is through the roof. The managers here at Cpc are inexperience unprofessional don’t have a clue about transportation whatsoever all they’re going to do is yes, sir the customer and never mind what’s important for you as the driver. The so-called dispatchers are not experience whatsoever. They don’t know how to route. They don’t know how to problem solve. Everything is done on a fly and you as the driver will pay for it driver beware stay away from Cpc. So you understand Cpc leases drivers to their customers it’s not a real trucking or transportation company they don’t own the trucks. They don’t own the facility where you will be working out of you are to report to work and do as you told if you like to work under those conditions, then go ahead and work for them But it’s a very stressful job. They will Micheal manage you penny pinch you for everything you do.
I was hired with Stone/Sapporo. I was told that I would have to be a temp to hire to 1st to make sure I was a great fit for the company. I agreed & was contacted by CPC to start the process. Sent my documents, signed paperwork, did drug test & they gave me a start date. So I put in my two weeks notice at my existing job. After my two weeks were up, it was time to call them. Jessica Gomez tells me that unfortunately they would not be able to move on with me due to my driving record not reflecting their company's policy. Now I’m out of a job because they failed to notify me before hand that I was not qualified to work for them. I was never notified via email , call or text. The regional manager Pete Wieboldt totally disregarded the fact that he did not contact me. He said “I mailed the reasons yesterday” even though technically I was already hired with the company & had a start date!!!! So now I’m jobless in this horrible economy, & it’s all because of this CPC. I would not recommend! Horrible communication, horrible management, & horrible staff.
