“My 11 year old son has ONLY let Trevor and Mario cut his hair for many years. They are both great barbers. Not too chatty, quick and efficient, and well-versed in their craft. Reasonably priced as well. Walk-in’s only. Closed Mondays and 1/2 day Saturday. Cash only, which is a bit inconvenient in today’s ApplePay world, but absolutely worth the ‘hassle’.“

“I've lived in Perry for 25 years, and I never knew of this barber shop until recently when my local barber decided to raise his prices by 33%. I looked for other barbers in the area and I found this nice barber shop in downtown Madison right on the square. I guess Mr Fako took over the business when his dad passed away, and it has that old time charm to it. No fancy extras, no appointment necessary (that's for a beauty salon) and reasonable prices. Mr Fako will chew your ear off with some great stories (about his daughters, grandkids, life in general), and unlike many other people who cut hair (I won't call them barbers), he can actually cut hair and talk at the same time. Other places you may wait an hour to get in the chair because the young person cutting your hair can't do two things at one time. I really loved the old cash register from a different era. On top of all that, he does a great hair cut. This Hungarian will be back.“
