In a world of contractors that don't do what they say they will do I wanted to take the time to share an experience of a client. I sold a home 10 years ago in Powell and the client was experiencing some some structural concerns. David Wirtz with Spartan Wall Repair & Waterproofing is my trusted guy who I referred. Dave has seen it all, is one of the most knowledgeable guys in the wall/waterproofing trade, brutally honest, fair. He should always be your first call if you ever have any basement waterproofing/wall repair needs, he will be mine. He is a straight shooter, who stands out in an industry of commission sales reps you see running a television ad. I don't believe Dave made a dime from any of the value he provided but will hopefully benefit in time with referrals from me over the following years. In this situation, the needs were a little outside of Spartan's focus. Dave's experience allowed him to recognize what was going on and brought in B-Level LTD to do a complex helical pier system/chimney stabilization that was a better long term design and a more competitive price than other companies proposed. The architect client was very impressed with B-Levels skills and the knowledge of the second generation company. Lastly, thanks to Dale Mickey. P.E. who we brought in to confirm and sign off on the work. A top tier Columbus structural engineer who has done a great job for decades. Dale confirmed B-Level is one of the best in town. I always like to recognize good people and good work when I see it.
