The Robert Hutchison DVM clinic provides compassionate care for pets, treating them like family members. The clinic has experience caring for animals at all stages of life, from rescue kittens to senior pets. The facility is known for its expertise, particularly in complex procedures like C-sections. The clinic is praised for its beautiful waiting area, which includes a separate "kitty korner" to decrease the stress of the pets while waiting. The staff, including the desk staff, are described as kind and friendly. Customers appreciate the private rooms available for euthanasia, which provide a comforting way to spend the last moments with a beloved pet. While the clinic may be a bit pricier than other veterinary practices, customers feel the services provided are worth the cost.
Recently an emergent c section. The lady that answered the phone- so friendly. The techs- so friendly. And the doctor was also very kind. I drive 1.5 hours each way because they are so kind, supportive, along with their stellar medical care.
This was my first visit to this facility and first visit with Dr. Lindstrom for my adult royal python. Facility itself was beautiful--it had a large waiting room so anyone waiting with their pets really didn't have to be so close and a separate "kitty korner" for the cats. I appreciate their efforts to decrease the stress of the pets while waiting. I could probably spend all day sharing the amazing experience I had working with Dr. Lindstrom but actually want people to read this. I work with animals professionally for 15 years now and obviously have pets of my own, so I have seen a lot of vets in my time and I can confidently share that Dr. Lindstrom was the best vet experience I have had. He truly cares about his patients and the humans that come along with them. He took the time to hear my observations, shared his thoughts and talked through each one of them. He cared about the emotional health of my pet and that weighed into his recommendations, which meant a lot to me. He was so generous with his time and I never felt rushed or that he was distracted with other patients, he was 100% present with the pet and human in front of him. Exotic vets are difficult to come by and in my experience even more difficult to find a good one and I feel so blessed that my snake, Fettuccine, gets to receive the best care with Dr. Lindstrom moving forward. I am only saddened that my dogs and cat don't get him as a vet but I am sure the other vets are great too. There were some negative reviews about the place being expensive and I felt their prices were fair for the services provided. I lastly wanted to also note that the desk staff were kind and friendly as well! I had Megan check us out and she was great! Even gave me some tips and suggestions regarding payment that was really helpful. All around great experience and would highly recommend anyone with an exotic to find their way here.
We aren't from the area, so we can only speak about our one experience with this clinic. On a road trip from Chicago to Philadelphia, or poor baby Sam (he was 14, but he's always a baby to us), went into cardiac failure, and we had to take him here to be put down. Everyone was so kind and warm, they made this horrible experience so much more bearable with their kindness. Less than 2 weeks later, we received a card in the mail from the office, with nurses and doctor offering their condolences. It may seem like a small thing, but I so appreciate the gesture. Thank you for taking care of our Sam, and letting us be with him at the end.
