HCF installed vinyl planks on our entire first floor, replacing a mixture of carpet and laminate. Excellent experience with the sale staff who were able to point us in the right direction. We chose Heritage Carpet and Flooring for its local, family owned business that has been staple in the community for decades. We replaced all of the flooring in our 1800 sq foot home (minus the bathrooms) in the summer of 2022. We chose a combination of carpeting in 2 bedrooms, sunroom, and down the basement stairs, and LVP flooring throughout the remainder of the home including the kitchen, dining, laundry room, office, hall/foyer, and living room. We had a custom area rug made for the living room with the same carpet used in the other rooms of the home. Less than 6 months after installation we noticed an issue with our LVP floor splitting the length of the board in an area that was not walked on regularly. We notified Heritage and they were prompt to make a visit to the house to determine how best to solve the problem. The defective boards were replaced. About 4-5 months later we noticed another area of the LVP flooring splitting the length of several boards in our kitchen. Heritage again made a visit to our home for an assessment. It was determined we would need to have an independent party evaluate the areas of concern for warranty purposes. The ultimate decision was that the particular LVP flooring we chose was defective and should be replaced in its entirety. Heritage flooring was prompt to remove the flooring selection from their showroom, and to begin the process of new flooring selection and scheduling installation for us. In the process of choosing all flooring options, initially and for replacement, we were met with friendly and courteous staff always willing to help. The selection in store is excellent and the ability to take multiple samples home is greatly appreciated. We chose to replace the LVP flooring with laminate (specifically Mohawk Revwood Premier in Sunbathed Pecan) and it was replaced in January 2024. The flooring installers were top notch and worked diligently and professionally with all flooring we had installed. We had several areas that were not level initially and major squeaks in the floor that were remedied as best as possible. Installers arrived on time, worked well together, and kept a clean work area. We are so pleased with the final results and highly recommend Heritage Flooring and Carpet for quality products, professional installation, excellent customer service, and friendly, courteous and helpful staff. We recently had to replace our family room carpeting. We decided to try Heritage Carpet since they were local and had been around for years. We are glad we chose them. They made it easy to chose the right carpeting by supplying us with different samples to take home. Their installation was great. They did a quality job and I was really impressed with the care they put into the installation. We also had 5 wide steps that needed carpeting and I was so impressed how they handled those as well. We were very pleased when the job was done. We will definitely return to Heritage Carpet and Flooring next time we have a floor need.
