We have dealt with Mt. Hope Planing twice and both times they were very friendly and answered all our questions. The flooring that was installed at our home is beautiful and the installers did a great job. Also, Carrie always answers the phone when you call during business hours and is very helpful. I definitely recommend them.

Wow! We were visiting from NC and stopped in just to look! The owner and his daughter were soo helpful! Can’t wait till we get our samples and will be ordering our new floors from them! worth driving 7 hrs to pickup flooring so that we can support a business like them!

We've got six years, seven kids and two dogs on our MHP hickory floor and it has held up beautifully. The finish buffs to a nice sheen with foot traffic, but is not slippery. It is stable, quiet and durable. There is minimal waste when installing due to the great variety of lengths amongst the short pieces - at the end of each row, if you're patient, you'll find a piece that will only need a slight trim. Great product, price, and made in the USA with domestic wood. JR and his crew are easy to work with.
