Decided to try a new eye doctor due to them being recommended by my insurance carrier and they had great 5-Star reviews. The Doctor was amazing and very knowledgeable. If you want someone who truly cares about your eye health, I do recommend this Doctor!The reason for a 3-Star review is the glasses wait. They specifically told me 2-4 weeks for them to come in and pickup. That was August 9th and today is September 28th. I was told two different weeks that they would be in by Friday and received no call, no return call when leaving a message checking on the status, and I had to call several times to be told there was a mixup and the order has been placed again.Will change...read full review

Dr Flagel was great! The nurse was also friendly and welcoming. The receptionist did seem a bit short and the young lady who helped me pick out my frames was not very engaging or helpful. I was still willing to continue using this office as my new eye doctor after moving to Middletown. My problem is that I have been waiting for my frames now for a month! 8/14-9/14. I probably wouldn’t mind so much if I hadn’t lost my old glasses or the expectation was set for an extended wait. I can’t suggest going to this location if you need glasses in a hurry. If you already have working glasses, I would definitely refer Dr Flagel.

Dr. Flagel went above and beyond with helping me to be able to see better because my eyes are that bad. Then when supply chain issues kept my glasses from arriving, she let me pick out a new frame, outside of my insurance allowance because of the delays, and then fast tracked the new frames to me so that I could be able to see again as soon as possible. With everything she had to deal with to make this happen, she deserves every bit of the 5 stars in my review. When you are at her office you are a human, you are not just another number; and that is rare these days. Thanks again Dr Flagel. I appreciate all your help.
