I first learned of Shiver Security when I was opening a restaurant in Newport, I reached out to Joseph Ebright and he took care of e security (cameras/alarm) so we could sleep at night knowing that the business was safe as can be. He has personally taken care of issues that have come up. With his great customer service and professionalism I didn’t hesitate to have him take care of our home security needs. When he came out to give us a consolation my wife and I were so comfortable with him being there it was almost like family. Dylan our installer was early, professional, and very knowledgeable. He troubleshot an issue with details and a great explanation and would not leave until he made sure the situation was remedied. If ya need great service and incredible people to watch over your life and loved ones...Shiver Security is it.
This is a very good company with excellent customer service. The one negative is that they lock you into a long term contract (5 years!) despite the initial installation fees. If you cancel, the contract requires you to pay 1/2 of the remaining balance of the entire contract. This is an expensive proposition if you sell your home and then must pay 1/2 of the balance of the contract for monitoring at a residence that you no longer own. In today's world of mobility, you may wish to consider if you would take this risk.
