Amvale Beauty Salon offers a friendly and helpful atmosphere with skilled stylists who provide great hair services. Customers appreciate the reasonable prices and the care given to their hair. One stylist, in particular, is noted for her ability to transform curly grey hair, leaving it feeling healthy and looking great. Overall, the salon is recognized for its warm environment and quality service.
My wife followed her beautician, Terri, to this place about a year or two ago. My wife and I go every week. So, I'm basing this review on at least 50 observations. The place is clean and bright. They offer nail service and, I think, pedicures. They have a lot of stations, ten maybe, and plenty of seating for spouses in the waiting area. The clientele includes a wide age range from children to seniors, including teenagers. Most of the clients appear to be longtime customers because everyone seems to know everyone else. It's a modern version of an old time cracker barrel. My wife is frequently stopped by strangers who compliment her on her hairstyle, and to ask where she gets it done. I have to say that Terri has always done a nice job on Carla. But, I also have to say that all of the stylists do great work (at least on Saturday, which is when we go). I don't have any experience with other shops. So, I don't know if their prices are reasonable or not. I just know that whatever it is, it's worth it to look like Carla does.
