This used to be a great place and I've gone there for myself and kids for years. Now they just turn away people since they don't have the staff or equipment. Luckily the Mercy Urgent Care down the street on 48 was happy to receive a new patient.

Went in for sore throat, didn't even perform a swap to test for strep but prescribed 10 days antibiotic assuming it was strep because "everyone that came in that day had sore throat" and three weeks later still have sore throat and no confirmation whether I can rule out strep since not even a rapid test was performed. Disappointed.

Doctor William Danko, you are the most unprofessional care provider I have had in my 20 years. I received care for an abscess that needed drained on a previous injury. I have had it drained once before, and received excellent care at Atrium Medical Center. I came to Riversbend as a last resort. Upon walking into my exam room, you did NOT introduce yourself nor had any form of identification on you, just blue scrubs. I expressed that I didn't want to get the abscess drained that day and if I could just get antibiotics because it was SMALL (and i was going to go somewhere else more professional to get it drained.)
