I have been involved with home health care for 11 years, I have been a nursing assistant for 6 of those years. My goal is to give my client their best day possible and try my best to fill their day with meaning. Typically my clients enjoy parks, sporting events, museums, exercise classes, shopping and more!
Most of my clients have had dementia of different types, I put together a care plan that works best for them and what their challenges and strengths are.
I am skilled using a Hoyer lift and stand Hoyer lift for people who are not ambulatory and assisting with transfers within reason. I also provide bathing, peri care, dressing, wound care, med management, food preparation and light housekeeping.
