Been taking our boys since he was in Buford. So happy to see he’s in Dodsonville outside of Lynchburg on 50. Always does an excellent job and a piece of candy for each of the boys when he finishes.

Been looking for a barber for a while now in the Blanchester area. Every review I would come across is always in reference to how a recommended barber cut their kids hair great etc. but I never seem to find one of a personal experience. After having gone through approximately 5 barbers in the area, I decided to give Rt. 50 Barbershop a try on a Wednesday evening. What attracted me to try the barbershop was the evening hours which was perfect for me to visit after work. Upon walking in, Gabe greeted me politely and promptly. I took my son to get his hair cut at Gene's when he was 12 months old & just recently at 17 months old. Gene was very patient with my son & did a great job cutting his hair. My husband also gets his hair cut by Gene & has for many years now. A great Old Fashioned Barber Shop!!! Highly recommend!!! Affordable Hair Cuts of $10.00 or less, depending on adult or child.
