I have been looking at getting plumbing fixed for a while. I like to do my research before I chose who is going to do work for me. I saw the outstanding reviews, so I chose Steady Does It to quote me to do the job. The initial meeting went well, met by 2 guys with smiles and a firm handshake. Took some pictures of what I wanted to fix, a water leak, some old pipes replaced, a washer box replaced, and a toilet flange repaired, told me I'd have a quote later that same day. And I got the quote later that day. Less than what had in the budget to pay. The crew that did the work was supposed to show at 9 the day of the repair, had the decency to call and tell me they had an emergency repair and that they would be late, but would call when they were heading my way. Got that call and was told they would be at my place by 1030. The crew they sent me was amazing, and I cant say that enough. Guys were super friendly, enough my dog who likes nobody, didn't mind them being there. They didn't mess around, I showed them the work needing done and they got to it. I have a modular home, so the repair took a little longer than they expected and few more trips to the parts store than expected, but by the close of business I had water back in the house. So here's what really impressed me. They had another job they needed to do that day. Time was running late, about 330, they had just a little left to do at my house but needed a last part to complete the job. They left, but, and hope I get this right, John said he'd be back on his way home to get us up and running. Sure enough, he came back after 5pm and completed the job. We could tell he was wanting to get home, but he offered to stay and help with silly little things I could do myself. I am more than satisfied with my choice to work with Steady Does it. I am pretty sure a 5 star isn't enough. Ohhh, wait, I forgot, when I made the initial call to set up an appointment to get the quote, the lady I talked to was super friendly and easy to talk to. This has been a great experience from start to finish. Please consider these guys for your needs. Job well done, my friends, job well done.
I hired them to replace a kitchen sink. When they came and opened the box (that I had bought) the sink was broken. They quickly told me they could do another job and could return when I got back with a replacement. I was so happy they worked around an issue that was a surprise to us all. They came back, installed the new sink, and cleaned up after themselves. I personally want to thank the gentleman that came to do the work. Both of them were kind, hardworking, and very professional. I would hire them again!! Thank you so much!!
