Canine academy has been absolutely amazing. I have a 3 yr old German Shepherd who was extremely reactive and completely impossible for me to handle. I was at a loss. All my neighbors were terrified of her for good reason. I found Canine Academy through a deep search after searching hundreds of places. I saw that they had a ton of really great reviews and the worker I spoke with was very kind and helpful in getting me started in a process for their board and train…. My girl came back a completely different dog. Now granted she’s not perfect and that’s impossible to expect but I am just truly blown away at the change in her since the short time she was there. I can finally take her outside without the extreme stress of her dragging me to the ground and getting away from me to go after someone. I mean it’s a complete 180 in her behavior and it’s only going to get better from here now that I know exactly what I need to do for her and how to help her and I owe thanks to the amazing trainer Alex for that. He was amazing and really helped me understand how to work with my girl, walked me through all the training and was straight forward with everything we talked about. He made me feel very welcomed and didn’t make me feel down about anything. I will recommend canine academy for anyone, always.
C.A. was an amazing opportunity for us to really grow closer to our dog. Wally is a 200lb English Mastiff, who is a sweet boy, but really can be stubborn and can literally pull us off our feet! C.A. provided outstanding boarding care for 12 days and (at same time) phenomenal 10-day training with Alex. This has all helped us to have amazing clear communication with our beastie, who is no longer pulling, dragging or tugging us along. If you are interested in dog training, grooming services or boarding, check these folks out. Truly amazing care!
Canine Academy Columbus provided excellent service and communication. They were all very friendly and we received daily updates. We decided on board and train! We highly recommend. Our dog trained with Shannon and she did a fantastic job! I even joked about her training our children. Our 6 month old pup is staying, sitting, laying down, walking with little to no tug and stopped jumping.
