Awesome visit from Drs. Heather and Hannah today. Dr. Heather explained in detail what she was going to do then she and Dr Hannah x-rayed my pony, Fire, and shared with me the x-rays look good. Blood was drawn and I should get results maybe Friday. They left Bute for my pony, recommended UlcerGuard and to hose the front hooves with cold water at least three times a day I am so happy and relieved with the great care my pony received.
We were referred to Amanda Hospital after having difficulties with our vet of 23 years. They quickly got us in, assessed our dogs situation and even reviewed his previous 10 years of records. They gave us their honest opinion focusing on his quality and comfort of life. He lost his eye but they were beyond efficient and affordable (less than half the previous vets quote). Since his surgery he is healing lovely, they have checked in and we have switched all of our pets to Amanda animal hospital. The team there has been a breathe of fresh air and so kind to our entire family.
Very good place for your fur kids. The doctors and support staff are so nice and really care about their patients. They are sensitive when it comes time to say goodbye, too. They make it a little easier and are extremely professional and give you time to say goodbye and allow you to hold them until the end. It's heartbreaking, but they handled our boy so nicely. They aren't super expensive like some places can be. They are reasonably priced and top notch care, it's a win win man.
