Eric is not only an outstanding musician, but a superb guitar teacher. As a mature adult, I was concerned that learning a new instrument this late in life might be extremely difficult. Eric makes it not only doable, but also very relevant. In addition to teaching the “bricks and mortar” building blocks like music theory, he makes learning fun with teaching things like how to play the blues, and using genres of music that actually interest me and make me want to practice. I highly recommend Eric as a teacher to students of all ages.

Eric is an excellent guitar teacher! He really knows his stuff when it comes to both playing and music theory, and he tailors each lesson to fit your goals. Whether you’re a total beginner or trying to level up your skills, he makes sure you’re learning in a way that works for you. Every week, he gives you “homework” to practice, which helps a ton with progress. In just a few lessons, I was already playing multiple songs! Plus, if you're serious about improving, he offers free monthly music theory lessons, which is a huge bonus. Highly recommend if you want a knowledgeable and patient teacher who will actually help you get better.

I’ve been playing guitar for almost a year and I’ve enjoyed the process because of Eric’s lessons. He’s always pushing me to learn theory as well as work on my physical skills. I would recommend Eric to anyone who is interested in learning or improving their guitar skills!
