He walked our property to see if we were having any other “issues “. He took his time with us and answered many questions. He is highly knowledgeable about trees and shrubs. “Once maybe twice in your life the Lord will send help when you need it most especially after the most horrible experience with another Landscaping that had my wife crying like I never saw before…that help the Lord sent me was Nick Whalen to help finish my home and have my wife laughing the way it should be. Not only did Nick and his team worked 5x faster than first company, honestly I got wore out watching them. There was no task not completed and when we couldn’t find bricks for the wall that wasn’t finished or done correctly the Legend Nick jumped in and fixed everything in so much quicker by himself I was truly amazed. And with my left hand not doing well he pushed me out of the way to do all the extras too. “Josh and Anthony at Bluegrass, along with their crew, completed a very large hillside project at our residence. They handled every aspect of the project in a very professional manner. When Josh told me something, he always kept his word, which is very important to me. He began the project when he said he would and completed it by the time he told me he would. Not many contractors do this in my experience. Not only did Bluegrass work in a timely manner, but their work was also superb. The pictures I have included do not do their work justice. The project turned out better than I had even imagined. I made some changes along the way and Josh always listened and acted as if it were no problem to make the changes. He was very patient with me with the changes and wanted to make sure they got it just how I wanted it. I could go on and on about how pleased I was with the results and how great they were to work with, but I will just say that I will definitely hire Josh and his crew from Bluegrass for any landscaping projects I have in the future. “I first started working with Turfscape 10 years ago when we hired them to completely redo the landscape and lawn maintenance at the 77 unit, 100 + acre homeowners association where I lived at the time. Being on the Board of the HOA I worked closely with Turfscape Year around. After I moved to my new home, I again hired Turfscape for my lawn care and landscape needs. There simply is not another company who's work compares to the folks at Turfscape. They are all professional, friendly, efficient and do a phenomenal job no matter the task and are dedicated to customer satisfaction. I also volunteer at a local animal shelter and coordinated a community giveback program with TS in which they organized over 50 their employees to volunteer their time and completely revitalize the yard in which the animals at the shelter get their daily exercise. They turned a run down acre of fenced in yard into a park like setting complete with tress, shrubs, proper drainage and new grass. ALL by the employees who volunteered their time. Beyond that they continue to help the shelter maintain the yard at no cost. Turfscape is a model organization and comes with my highest recommendation.“

Do an excellent job of sticking to their scheduled day for services, and if they need to adjust due to weather or an increase in work requests I'm notified well in advance. Team pays attention to the little things as well, this year my lawn is serviced on Monday which is also my garbage collection day - team will return my can to the side of house where previous companies would literally just cut around it. “Nichols is a great company to deal with a wide variety of work. They did our 0.75 acre lawn from a new built home which had tons of stone and clay and thought nothing would grow. They rockhounded, brought in fill, properly graded and now have the best looking lawn in the development. We also had them landscape stone beds around front and side as well as a retaining wall for back patio and a beautiful stone fire pit. Highly recommended!“
