The doctor is personable, extra kind, very knowledgeable, and has a very nice bedside manner, taking time to explain procedures and waiting for the owner's approval. The clinic is very good with pets, showing great care and concern, and treats pets as patients, not just things. Services include laser surgery, in-house blood tests, EKG and X-rays, pet dental care, microchipping, spay and neuter, treatment for accidental injuries, fleas, and heartworm, with multi-pet discounts available. The clinic also offers pet boarding and doggie daycare in a clean, climate-controlled environment with both indoor and outdoor space. The practice is located just one mile south of the fairgrounds in Greenville and is accepting new families. The waiting area is a small space, so carriers for smaller pets and leashes are recommended. Pricing is described as average, with staff able to answer most pricing questions or give estimates. The clinic demonstrates compassion, symbolized by a lit candle when a pet is saying goodbye, asking others to be respectful. Owners express deep trust and loyalty, stating they cannot imagine going anywhere else.
Very gentle, thorough, and average prices.Small space when you walk in so if you have a carrier for smaller pets bring it; all pets should be leashed otherwise.The staff immediately greet you and inquire about the pet. Most pricing questions they can answer or give an estimate.There is a candle that is lite when a fellow pet lover is saying goodbye. The sign tells those who are new to be respectful and know someone is hurting.The Dr. is personable & extra kind to timid/unsure pets. I’d give this vet more stars if I could.I’ve only ever been to this vet to buy flea treatments. I had my cat spayed at another vet and I came home and her wound had completely opened. I frantically tried to find a vet that was open and they surprisingly were open and closed in an hour. I called as fast as I could and she said she could take me in! I ran right over and her and the vet immediately fixed my poor kitty. They SAVED her life. She would’ve passed away if it wasn’t for them. I cannot thank this vet staff enough. They saved my 3 year old’s new surprise and they truly do care about their pets. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
Dr. Gibney and is staff were so helpful, kind and very knowledgeable. When I called and they knew how sick my pets were...they got them in right away. I am so thankful for what they were able to do for two of our kitties even though my 14 year old cat was unable to be saved. They sent me the nicest sympathy card for him and each sent individual notes...which was definitely appreciated. I would recommend Edgetown Veterinary to anyone. Thank you all so much. ???
