Looking for a professional and no-nonsense hair stylist in Cleveland? You've found it. This is a female and male hair salon. You have to know a stylists that works here in order to enter; meaning, you must have a scheduled appointment. For an outsider, this will be frustrating because the only way to enter inside is for a stylist to buzz you in. I prefer this method because it is a safety precaution. STYLISTS -- I met the stylist Nikki P. when she worked as a student at Aveda Institute in Strongsville, Ohio. She now has her own little booth station here which is awesome. She is very knowledgable on thick hair and African hair texture. I have loved the natural hair styles that she has done for me which are twists. She does braids too and she has a shampoo bowl/sink to use for all hair washing. APPOINTMENTS -- Nikki makes scheduling an appointment easy through her website. She uses the StyleSeat web service for hair stylists for all scheduling. To schedule an appointment with Nikki, go here: SALON BUILDING -- It is located in Garfield Heights. It is not a fancy building looking at it from the outside but inside is very clean and nice. The bathroom is clean too but a bit outdated and plain. Each stylist rents out their own space so there will be a line of doors as you enter the building. Once your stylist buzzes you in, then he or she will meet you at the front or back door to walk you into their service station. Overall, this is a great option for those looking for a more personable experience (one-on-one attention) from a hair stylist or barber. The building looks simple on the outside but inside is well kept. The bathroom is clean but could use some sprucing up as it looks old. I will definitely be back to see Nikki for my next natural hair or flat iron/blow dry appointment. *** - 52 total reviews in 2019 - 261 total Yelp reviews (updated reviews not included in this number) - Reviewed on 27 March 2019

You have to already know and have an appointment with a stylist. There are no walk-in appointments, which is a great safety measure. However. you have to make sure you call your stylist upon arrival for admittance. Parking is not well lit and is in the rear of the building with patrons going to Save-A-Lot for shopping. Shop is in a good location.
