One star for ER. ER discharged me, wasn’t sure of my diet at all, and apparently GI did not approve of me being discharged. Hospitalist was a female and she didn’t really know what was going on half the time. A DAY later after treated horribly in the er by nurses who talk crap about other patients and I heard it, I was sent BACK to the hospital by my GI bc my inflammatory markers were “unsafe to be an outpatient”. Still in the hospital at this time at another hospital as I was shipped out for immunosuppressant treatment and a colon rescue (thanks ER for sending me home with the wrong diet and almost causing me to need my colon removed! I was very disappointed with the lack of communication regarding protocol for families visiting in the maternity area. Perhaps something could be posted somewhere because evidently the nurses are far too busy to talk to family sitting in the waiting room for hours.
It genuinely surprises me to see so many negative reviews and comments about the doctors and experiences here! Over the last 14 months, I have developed a plethora of severe medical issues, 4 different stays requiring 6+ days each time, in the ICU.
Every time except for 2- I was brought in by ambulance and the EMTs have been incredible every time. I was never made to wait (as far as I’m aware, due to unconsciousness.)
