Antoine is a superb teacher and musician. He trained at Berkeley Conservatory of Music, and has performed all over the work. Yet, he is great with both kids and adults. He is hardworking, reliable, and professional. My son has taken lessons for the past 2 years and has learned so much! Antoine has student recitals every season which showcase the work of his many students. These are very fun and professional affairs. I give him my highest recommendation for drummers and percussionists of any age and any level of experience, including beginners.

Before signing my son up for lessons at Fa2, I was a little leery about going to someones home studio for drum lessons. After being unable to find a local drum teacher I liked though, I decided to take a risk and give it a try. So glad we did! Antoine is a fantastic drum teacher with much formal education and experience and works really well with my 10 yr. old son. His studio is spotless and very well organized (with a supremely comfortable waiting room stocked with books and wifi). He has an excellent drum curriculum for kids and knows how to deliver lessons with great content at the right pace (I am a former teacher so I pay attention to these things). Highly recommended!!!!

Antoine is a wonderful drum teacher to our daughter. He has a positive, patient demeanor that makes her feel at ease and want to learn. The practice sessions are fun, as she and Antoine will switch from snare work to full kit, and sometimes even jam together. She is reading drum music and creating her own compositions. Great fun and a great way to learn!
