Studio Salons is very similar to Salon Lofts meaning that there are several stylists in separate studios but all within the same building. Therefore I can only give a review on my stylist, Shelela Smith. Shelela Smith specializes in healthy hair/ African American hair. She has been my stylist for the past 8 years, as well as the stylist of my mother, sister, and several of my friends. She is excellent at cutting and short styles. I wore my hair short for at least 4 years and then decided to grow it out she was very creative in styling my hair as it grew out as well as aided in the process of making sure it grew back healthy. The only draw back in the fact that she does not care to do weave as she feels that it is not the best thing for your hair but will make some accommodations for you if you absolutely want your hair to be styled is such a manner. I am not a huge fan of weave so this works for me. I often get my hair colored and she is excellent at this as well. I have had black, blonde, brown, and red hair. I have never had any issues with any kind of damage to my hair from coloring. She always conditions my hair and uses only enough products to style my hair. She doesn't use a lot of spritz and or gels so it is better for your hair. I love her work, she is very affordable, and I would definitely recommend her to anyone.
