I wish I thought to look for a local fence supply before I bought and installed box store steel line posts for about 60 feet of new wood fencing at my house as part of a gradual replacement project, but I wasn’t too late to get some heavier pipe to handle a 60” gate on the hinge side and its adjacent terminal. Katie asked me about my gate width and recommended a 3” pipe for the hinge post instead of 2.5, which probably saved me an issue down the line. I also picked up the caps and male hinges here, simple. When I decided to DIY a 200-foot backyard fence, I stopped at Sharon Fence to discuss my options. Katie at the front desk walked me through quick estimates of vinyl, aluminum, and cedar picket fence materials. She was friendly, helpful, and patient with my numerous questions. (She was assisted by Mama, the office cat!) I decided to go with a cedar picket fence, and purchased the pickets from Sharon Fence. If you buy a bundle (240 pickets), the price per-board is a bit cheaper. These are high-quality (3/4-inch thick) cedar boards, clearly superior to the choices found in the box stores. I have worked at Sharon Fence going on Ten years. David Smith has been an excellent employer, he has treated me with respect and courtesy. I believe the product we sell is of good quality and sold at a fair price
