I've been a faithful Evolved customer for over 20 years now. Mike Kerin has done all of my tattoos, and when he moved away for a while, I chose to stop getting tattoos instead of letting anyone else do them. Now that he's back, I'm feral for the return to ink and awesomeness. Even though I now live up near Cleveland, I make the 2+ hour drive just to see him. Currently, he's resurrecting a phoenix I had done 20ish years ago. It's freaking gorgeous and I cannot recommend him enough. The facility itself is clean, safety focused, and has a great vibe. It is a very clean environment and the staff was friendly. I had a cover-up and new tattoo done over two sessions that were two weeks apart, one on the shoulder and one on the bicep, about 11 hours total. The artist did an excellent job of covering the old tattoo, even I am having a hard time telling where it is when looking at the cover-up. 4 stars because I emailed the artist with a few questions after the last session but never heard back. There are also a couple areas that will need to be reworked.
Had a wonderful experience here! This is now my second visit and I've gotten a septum piercing and both nostrils done — the former with Nick Strange and the latter with Javier. A++++ professionals! Everyone there is helpful and they have a great selection of jewelry as well.
