“I recently completed 8 hours of behind-the-wheel driving lessons with Mona from Sunny Academy and her reliable training car, Black-Jack. It was a positive and effective experience that helped me gain real confidence on the road.
Mona was an excellent instructor — patient, clear, and encouraging throughout every session. She explained driving techniques in a step-by-step manner, covering everything from basic vehicle controls and residential streets to more advanced skills like highway merging, lane changes, and parallel parking. When I made mistakes, she stayed calm and turned them into helpful teaching moments rather than stressful ones. “I really enjoyed my time at Roadmaster Driving School. My main issue, however, was the length of time it took to complete the program. I’ve been there for nearly 60 days, which was longer than I expected.

That said, I learned a lot during my training and gained valuable skills. One of the challenges was that we had a limited number of instructors, which contributed to delays. At one point, there was no general manager, and Mike had to take on extra responsibilities as both acting manager and instructor. He truly did his best under those circumstances.

I believe that if the school resolves these staffing issues—as the corporate office has already acknowledged and promised to improve by adding more instructors—it can be one of the best places to get your CDL.

Overall, I would recommend Roadmaster to others. Just keep in mind that the timeline you plan for may not always be accurate, especially if you are coming from another state.“
