10/21 Pros: braids came out very pretty and I was done in about 3 hours for small braids. Cons: not the style I wanted and was cut too short. Everyone in the shop was incredibly rude and talking about me the entire time because the hair I brought was tangled. Which would’ve been understandable, but I would’ve just come back with different hair if I knew they were going to complain the whole time like I couldn’t understand that they were talking about me. But as long as your braiding hair is easy to work with and you’re very specific about what you want, you shouldn’t have any problems. I’d probably go back
My daughter and I got here at 6:30am, I was seated in less then 10 mins and was done by 9 am. I got knotless bra length smedium. My daughter was seated by 7 and was done at 10:30. She got smedium boho. I live both of our hair, but the boho is definitely a vibe. We will be back. Only one person worked on each of us and it still went by fast.
I absolutely will give Amy’s Hair Braiding five stars! I was able to be seen as a walk-in and was in a chair within minutes! The staff were polite and treated me with respect. The shop was clean and a staff member came around every 20 minutes or so to sweep up hair. I was in and out within two hours after receiving box braids. The two ladies who braided my hair (Gift and Maria) were amazing! I’m very picky about my hair and they braided my hair exactly how I asked. It was not tight and they were gentle with my edges. I will definitely be referring all of my family and friends to Amy’s!
