I was recommended by one of my nurse friends to see her hair stylist for starting my locs again. I was looking for a great loctician since they need proper care especially for starting them out again. Nikkya was AWESOME! First let me say that the upkeep of each salon suite is very nice and each technician has their own private booth. You cannot enter the building until your stylist lets you in. It's a safe neighborhood located by the Continent but they do this for COVID safety measures and social distancing. My stylist took her time washing and deep conditioning my hair preparing to start my comb coils. It was nice that she has a tv and we watched a Netflix series while doing my hair. She was very pleasant, shared some things about her journey as a hair stylist and we shared some of the same constituents. She took her time with my hair. It took about two and a half hours but as you can see from the picture I posted, it was well worth it. I was able to pay her through the Square Up app and even make my appointments on there as well. I will be seeing her again for a retouch in a month! I love my new hairstyle!!!
