About Kids Kuts
Kids Kuts is a nostalgic destination for many, with some customers visiting as children and now bringing their own kids. The salon's layout has remained largely unchanged, but with updates over the years. Staff, such as Ms. Barb, are patient and skilled with young children, making the experience enjoyable. The salon also offers rewards and treats to make kids feel special. Many families appreciate the caring environment, and the staff’s ability to handle squirmers and nervous children. The salon is kid-friendly, and the atmosphere helps children feel comfortable, whether for their first haircut or regular trims. The quality of service is highly praised, with some customers saying they will always return, especially after positive experiences with Ms. Barb.
We've been loyal customers at Kids Kuts in Rocky River, Ohio, for years, and I can't say enough good things about this place—especially Miss Barb, the owner and incredible stylist. My now 10-year-old son has never let anyone else cut his hair except her. From his very first toddler trim to his latest back-to-school cut, Miss Barb has been the only one he trusts (and actually enjoys seeing!).
We live over 30 minutes away, but we happily make the drive every single time because it's worth every penny and every mile. The salon is super kid-friendly, with a welcoming vibe that puts even the wiggliest little ones at ease. Miss Barb is patient, skilled, gentle, and...read full review
Nice cut and price. Perhaps a little more hair dresser side manner when handling my kiddo though. I get kids are squirming but be a little more gentle when holding my kid's head.... Overall will come back.
I've taken both my kids to this shop for about a decade... people stop me all the time to gush about the absolutely darling bangs Ms. Barb does. Ten years ago this was very expensive for a kids cut, but she's held the price down, it's a great deal for a boutique experience. The only problem is she works just 4 days a week now, so need to plan an appointment ahead of time. I'll be sad when she retires.
