They were able to get us in last minute to spay our dog. Her spay was schedule for about 6 weeks later due to a previous seizure. Unfortunately my 3 yr old didn’t know not to let her out with a stray dog around after we’d kept her safe from him her whole heat cycle. So they got her in, in less than a week. Super nice people! My dad is even switching his dogs to their care and he lives over an hour away!

My dog needed emergency stitches today. I had called 5 different vets prior to them and nobody could fit her in. The only reason I called them last was because they were 45 minutes from me so I was trying to find some place closer. I had never been to this clinic before so my dog would be considered a new patient and they still fit us in even though they were busy and it was the day after a major holiday. We were in and out within an hour and a half. I was expecting to pay at least $500 for this due to it being an emergency and I knew she would need take home meds- I paid a little more than half of that so I was very happy with the price. My neighbor's pooch had problems with it's ears so we took him in.. was able to get an appointment same day.
They checked the boy & out found some infection in his ears. Since my neighbor had been in earlier that month, they didn't charge her for an office visit and only charged her for the antibiotics they gave him. It was very helpful for her and her financial situation. KUDOS to all at the Chesapeak Veterinary Clinc!!!
