Dr. Wake performed a laminectomy with spinal fusion on my L4 and L5 in 2023. He had recommended this surgery in 2021, but I was afraid, was caring for a spouse with Alzheimer’s, and I put it off until my pain was excruciating. He explained everything to me in detail each time. My spinal stenosis had worsened in those two years. He couldn’t guarantee the surgery would take care of all the pain, but he said he could help me. I had the surgery, and when I woke up, the pressure and horrible pain was gone. I walked that night. At each checkup, Dr. Wake asked what percentage of pain was gone. Dr. Wake is fantastic! He's very through and concerned about what is best for the patient and a successful outcome. His staff is polite and helpful. Would recommend for everyone.

He was very nice, friendly, good bedside manner till the surgery was over and I told him I still had pain. He said do this exercise and left the room quickly. I'm still in pain, it's been 4 years...
