I have been to many different chiropractors and doctors who do musculoskeletal manipulations for almost 10 years. Last month I went to Jay Smith because he was running a new patient special. Big mistake. After "adjusting" my neck, whipping it extremely too forcefully, I started having stroke and concussion like symptoms; severe pain, numbness, tingling in my face, neck, back, shoulder, extreme fatigue, my balance and coordination was off, I was tripping and dropping things, dizziness, nausea, slurring my words, I couldnt think or multi-task, it was hard to get my words out and form sentences, after almost passing out, I was forced to go to the ER. After this "doctor" very forcefully over adjusted my neck, I started having serious stroke symptoms and ended up going to the ER. The ER doctor was concerned he might have torn an artery in my neck and I had to get a CAT scan. I am greatful to be alive but still suffering from after effects a month later. Jay Smith of course refuses to take any responsibility. He didnt even apologize. I also recently found out he has a felony charge on his record from the Ohio State Board of Chiropractic.
