The water heater works but I'm not real happy with the installation. It sure doesn't look professionally done with pipe dope everywhere, drops not straight, drips and the top of the new tank all scratched up.Just a follow up. I did contact A Rooter Man and a different "Master Plumber" Logan was sent out. Logan was indeed a professional and repaired the original installation to my satisfaction. He was even prepared to completely replace the entire tank but I told him that was not required and I just wanted the leak/drip fixed.While making the repair Logan needed to close the main water supply and we both discovered that the valve handle was missing. The entire staff from A Rooter Man which includes Heather, Evan and Tyler were great and went above and beyond working closely with the gas company to get my gas turned on after it had been out for nine days. Communication was great with everyone and they deserve recognition for all they do. Maybe Homeserve could take some lessons from them.
