“On a recent trip in our Winnebago gas motorhome with a Ford F53 Chassis, the V10 engine started knocking and then the check engine light came on. This was in Eastern Kansas. Called four Ford auto dealers and only one agreed to take a look at it. Found we had cylinder that was not firing. Did a few things so that we could limp along, but said they were not capable of doing any repairs. Finally found a Ford Heavy truck dealer in Colorado and they determined that we needed a complete engine replacement. They quoted me a price that was out of this world, but probably typical for an actual Ford dealer. Called Mainline and they gave me a rough estimate over the phone that was a fraction of what the Ford dealer quoted. We limped back to Ohio and left it there for the replacement. They gave me an approximate time frame and actually completed the replacement on time and below the estimated cost. Engine runs great! Can't say enough about Jeff and Nick. Both very knowledgeable, professional, personable and honest. Would recommend to anyone for gas and diesel motorhome, engine and chassis service.“
