My father, Elder/Minister Howard Lee Crawford was placed in the care of Calhoun's Funeral on on May 13, 2023. My husband and I were entrusted to handle all of the final arrangements by him so it had to be as perfect as we could get them. I received a call within a hour of them being notified of his passing. Eric Jones was the director and assisted and explained everything to us, because of his coordination it help keep our stress to a minimal. Calhoun's Funeral Home & Cremation Services went over everything in our initial preplanning meeting, letting us know what they were going to need from us.. as well as all of the services that they would provide.. Everything was clear and concise.. Our Funeral Director keep us on task/track.. He was knowledgeable, kind, yet professional.. Calhoun's medial services was absolutely phenomenal.. Their facility was state of the art.. clean, beautiful and fully staffed.. Every staff member was efficient, knowledgeable, helpful and professional.. All of their transport personnel was excellent.. The Calhoun funeral home staff was absolutely professional, compassionate, and committed to the Homegoing my beloved mother. Most notably, Abigal was phenomenally attentive, supportive, and thoughtful. She encouraged me when I was down and even stayed up until the late evening hours to make sure that pictures, prayers and videos were ready in time of the Homegoing. I truly extend my gratitude to her for following up with me even after the service to check on my well-being.
